What is it?
Membership management for small sports clubs: records, fees, invoices and form letters. A single HTML file to download — double-click and it runs. On Mac and Windows, with no installation, no account and no server.
All club data lives in a data file of its own on the club's computer and stays there: nothing is sent to the internet, not even to hajime.at. That makes backing up simple — keep the data file in a folder that is backed up anyway and it is covered automatically.
How it works
- Save the file — ideally in the folder where the club's paperwork lives.
- Double-click it. It opens in your browser.
- Choose “Create new data file” and pick a location for the data.
- If you already keep a spreadsheet, import it as CSV — with column mapping and matching, so nothing is created twice.
Who is it for?
For small sports clubs that keep a spreadsheet today and type out invoices from it once a year.
For a club under the small-business rule the feature set is enough. If you have to show VAT or collect direct debits, this is the wrong tool — see below.

What it cannot do
So that nobody waits for it: no SEPA direct debit (that needs a creditor identifier, and a mistake costs a club real money), no bank reconciliation, no dunning, no VAT, no part payments or credit notes, no attendance tracking and no multi-user operation.
Privacy and technology
Runs in any current browser. In Chrome and Edge the app writes into the chosen file itself; in Safari and Firefox the file is loaded at startup and saved with a button. No libraries, no external connections, no ads, no tracking. The full help is inside the app itself — offline as well.
Because the data sits in an ordinary file on the club's computer, it belongs in the same backup as the rest of the club's paperwork. No separate backup routine is needed.
Common questions
Where does the club's data live?
In a data file on the computer where the app is opened. It never leaves that computer — there is no server it could go to, not even one belonging to hajime.at.
Can several people work at the same time?
No. The app is meant for one person doing the membership admin. Two simultaneous edits of the same file would overwrite each other.
What about data protection law?
Member data stays with the club, which is responsible for it anyway. No processor is added, because nobody outside the club sees the data — which saves the processing agreement any cloud solution requires.
What if the file is damaged?
The same as with a spreadsheet: without a backup it is gone. That is why it belongs in the folder that is backed up anyway. The app also exports CSV at any time — so the data stays readable without this app.
