Privacy policy

This site is deliberately built sparingly. There are no cookies, no tracking, no analytics tools and no content from third-party servers — all fonts and images are delivered by hajime.at itself. Visiting this site therefore establishes no connection to any third party.

Controller

The controller for data processing on this website is:

Stefan Mayr
Dorf 1, 6911 Eichenberg, Austria
E-mail: office@hajime.at
Telephone: +43 660 1089900

For information requests, deletion requests and any other data protection matter, an e-mail to the address above is sufficient.

Server log files

When the site is called up, the web host automatically stores access data in log files. This is technically necessary in order to deliver the site and to keep its operation secure. The following is recorded:

The legal basis is the legitimate interest in a technically faultless and secure operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These data are not merged with other data sources and are not used to identify individual persons.

Access statistics

The host compiles an aggregated access statistic from these log files. It is password-protected, accessible only to the operator and contains no personal evaluation of individual visitors.

Processor

The website is hosted by World4You Internet Services GmbH, Hafenstraße 47–51, 4020 Linz, Austria. The host processes the data named above on our behalf on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Processing takes place within the European Union.

Storage on your device

This website offers web applications that run entirely in your browser — learning and practice programs, for instance. They store your progress and your settings in your browser's local storage. The data remain exclusively on your device, are transmitted neither to us nor to third parties and are at no point visible to us. Such applications load no content from third-party servers and establish no network connections while running.

Each application stores for itself; they share no data with one another.

The storage is necessary for the function — without it, progress would be lost on every visit. No consent is required for this. You can delete the data yourself at any time: within the respective application via its reset option, or via your browser's function for deleting website data.

Should an application be added in future that goes beyond this — by sending data to a server, for example — that will be described separately at this point.

Links to other websites

Individual pages and applications contain links to third-party websites, for example to search results or video portals. Such links are only called up by a click — before that, no connection to the respective provider is established and no data are transmitted. After the click, the privacy terms of the respective provider apply.

Getting in touch

If you write to us by e-mail, your details are stored in order to process the enquiry and deleted once it has been dealt with, unless statutory retention periods stand in the way. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.

Your rights

You have the right to obtain information about the data stored about you as well as to have it corrected or erased, or to have its processing restricted. You are likewise entitled to data portability and to object to processing based on a legitimate interest.

If you believe that the processing of your data infringes data protection law, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority:

Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde
Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, Austria

Changes

As soon as this site is extended by further functions — a shop, downloads requiring registration or a newsletter, for instance — this policy will be extended accordingly.
